Our gardening group have been working hard, we now have 5 raised beds thanks again to Peter, our Cabbage and potatoes are peeping through and we have been and covered them with a polytunnel to protect them from the cold weather.

How we began..
In May, we took over an unused part of garden at Ventura Court with a view or should I say vision of developing it into a plot for our gardening group. Group members, Ventura court residents and volunteers have worked really hard to turn a wilderness into a workable area. Special thanks go to Kevin Froggatt for his clearing the area, this work could not have been done without the tools that have kindly been donated by Nigel Brockett, Mark Gadd, Anne Lewis, Barbara Laurie, Donna Turley and Dorothy Scapens. I hasten to add we cannot forget Barbara from Ventura court who ensured we all had a break from digging with a cup of tea and a biscuit...
