Volunteer Minibus Drivers Wanted

New Mills Volunteer Centre has recently been granted 5 years funding from Reaching Communities England, part of The Big Lottery, to continue its Community Transport scheme taking local residents to hospital, medical and social appointments.

For the first time, the new funding allows us to acquire a wheelchair accessible minibus so that we can provide an even greater range of social and service provision to our community.

This is something that can be life enhancing not only for the people who use this facility but the volunteers who deliver the service. There are no special requirements on your driving licence if you passed your driving test prior to 1997.

Free Training Given
